From August 16 - 25. 2004, the third international art gathering of regional character called "The Iwano Project VI - WORKSHOP" will be held. This is a unique manifestation because its participants are exclusively women - artists. As before, it will be held in a beautiful villa "Stankovic" owned by the provincial government. The villa is located in Cortanovci, 20 km downstream from Novi Sad (SCG), perched on a hill overlooking the Danube.
Ten artists from the countries of the region will take part. Their accommodation is based on double rooms and the activities of the workshop will be recorded by a top-quality camera Olympus 5050, in order to send the updates with wireless conection almost imediately to the project's site using the note-book Sony Waio computer and GPRS.
The rest of the equipment includes another computer and a video projector which will be used to present the project and the works created by the partecipants during the workshop and for the press-conference which will be held on August 24 2004 at 11 AM at the villa in Cortanovci.
Those who enjoy a bit of good music will be happy to know we'll be using a high-quality sound system of 500 W in combination with Yamaha and B&W . . .

Upon their return to their homes, the artists will become the selectors for the future participants in the project, as normally one third of the participants visit the workshop, while the others work at home and send their works. After this, we organize exhibitions here and in the region and print a high-quality color catalog.
Also will be author of project Aleksandar Pedovic, web master Luka Salapura and
Lazar Simonovic - art crtitque. This year sponsor of project is Secretariat for work and egality between gender of local government of Vojvodina, secretary - Jelica Rajacic Capakovic.

Postovani g.
